The hotel's location was the reason I picked it, offering easy access to the vegetable market, stores, parks, and the Danube promenade zone. The rooms, while not as deluxe as described, were exquisitely decorated and very comfortable, though they could be cleaner. The service, although friendly and helpful overall, seemed inexperienced at times. Dining options were not satisfying, with a standard continental offering that fell short, but savoury pies were a saving grace. The facilities were decent but not exceptional.
